We started out just listing stores that sold items for clowns, but after a while we realized that there is not much differance between a clown doing ballon twisting or balloon twister doing ballons and so on for otheer types of family entertainers. So we have listed stores for clowns, balloons twisters, balloon modellers, face painters, jugglers, magicians, puppeteers, vents, storytellers, so to keep it simple we just say family entertainers

I launched the websites  ClownStores.com , ClownvilleNews.com , MobileClown.com , ClownResourceDirectory.com , and ClownEvents.com   in 2001 with the hope that it might fill some of the void left by the untimely demise of other clown websites and magazines.  It has also been a way to incorporate two of my favorite pastimes, Computers and Clowning, into one project.
